# Quick Start Guide

Get WhatSnap up and running in your GoHighLevel account in just a few simple steps. This guide will walk you through the entire installation and setup process.

## Installation Process

### Step 1: Install WhatSnap Plugin

#### Access the GoHighLevel Marketplace

Click on the following link to access the WhatSnap installation page:

This will redirect you to the GoHighLevel marketplace where you can authorize WhatSnap to access your account.

#### Select Sub-Account

Once you've authorized the installation, you'll be prompted to select the sub-account where you want to install WhatSnap.

* Choose the specific sub-account where you want to enable messaging (WhatsApp, SMS/iMessage, or Twilio)
* You can install WhatSnap on multiple sub-accounts if needed

#### Choose Integration Method

You'll need to decide how WhatSnap integrates with your existing GoHighLevel setup:

* Leverage all GHL features on non-official WhatsApp connections via QR-code

**Best for:** Users who want maximum automation capabilities and workflow integration.

* WhatSnap appears as a new tab alongside Email, SMS, and Official WhatsApp
* Keeps existing SMS functionality intact
* Requires webhooks for workflow automation

**Best for:** Users who want to maintain separate SMS and WhatsApp channels.

#### Complete Installation

After making your selection, WhatSnap will be installed on your chosen sub-account. You'll be automatically redirected to the sub-account to begin the setup process.

## Initial Setup Wizard

Once the plugin is installed, you'll be redirected to your GoHighLevel sub-account where the WhatSnap setup wizard will guide you through the initial configuration.

### Step 1: Connect Your First Messaging Account

WhatSnap supports three types of messaging accounts:

* **WhatsApp**: Connect via QR code scan (most popular)
* **SMS/iMessage (P2P)**: Use your own phone or Mac to send SMS and iMessages
* **Twilio SMS**: Enterprise SMS with your Twilio number

**Important**: Make sure you have access to the account you want to connect during this setup process.

#### Connecting WhatsApp

The wizard will display a QR code that you need to scan with your WhatsApp account:

1. **Open WhatsApp** on your mobile device
2. **Navigate to Settings** → **Linked Devices** → **Link a Device**
3. **Scan the QR code** displayed in the WhatSnap wizard
4. **Wait for confirmation** that your WhatsApp account is successfully connected

#### Connecting SMS/iMessage (P2P)

To connect your personal device for SMS and iMessage:

1. Click on **"Connect Device"** in the account type selection
2. Follow the device-specific instructions for your phone or Mac
3. Install the required companion app if prompted
4. Complete the authentication process

#### Connecting Twilio SMS

To configure Twilio SMS:

1. Click on **"Configure Twilio"** in the account type selection
2. Enter your Twilio Account SID
3. Enter your Twilio Auth Token
4. Select or configure your Twilio phone number
5. Complete the setup process

### Step 2: Activate Your Account

To start using WhatSnap, you'll need to activate your account with a 5-day free trial:

#### Start Free Trial

Click on "Start Free Trial" to begin your 5-day trial period.

**Credit Card Required**: A credit card is required to start the free trial, but you won't be charged during the trial period.

#### Enter Payment Information

Provide your credit card details to activate the trial:

* Card number
* Expiration date
* CVV
* Billing address

#### Trial Activation Complete

Once your payment information is processed, your WhatSnap account will be activated and you'll be redirected to your WhatSnap dashboard.

After completing the setup wizard, you'll land on your WhatSnap dashboard where you can:

### Common Installation Issues
